This paper addresses the escalating incidents of human and sloth bear mortality in the state of Gujarat in India, a grave concern for forest officials and conservationists.  It is authored by Dev Shah, under the guidance of Dr. Nishith Dharaiya, Professor at HNG University and Co-chair of the IUCN Sloth Bear Team.
