NECTAR NAVIGATORS

is a venture initiated by Dev Shah, in partnership with The Serenity Trust and Bees in my Backyard with a two-fold objective: to spread awareness about pollinators and their importance in our ecosystem, and to create pollinator-friendly spaces in urban India. 

 

In fragmented landscapes like our cities, pollinators like birds, bees, and butterflies can have a difficult time finding food, water and shelter. We can overcome these threats and sustain healthy pollinator populations by providing the right habitats and reducing the spaces between these waystations.. By making even the smallest of green spaces pollinator-friendly, communities can create ‘stepping stones’ for different pollinators between larger habitat patches, increase the diversity of plants and make our landscapes healthier and more beautiful.
