This research paper uses statistical methods to determine sustainable fishing practices and conservation management of threatened sharks in the pivotal Western Indian port of Porbandar. It utilizes data compiled by Dr. Sutaria, Dr. Barnes and Dr. Jabado from Save Our Seas Foundation, a global organization dedicated to the preservation of ocean life. The paper is mentored by Samantha Farquhar, a US Coast Guard Reservist and PhD candidate at East Carolina University. It has been submitted to Endangered Species Research, an international, peer-reviewed science journal.
