Did you know that the textile industry is the second largest polluter in the world. As a result of fast fashion, 87% of clothing waste ends up in landfills taking 200+ years to decompose. These disturbing facts led Dev to create Komma in partnership with the non-profit Dreams Foundation, a social venture that repurposed fabric waste into home and wellness products and generated employment for marginalized women during the Covid-19 pandemic. Komma (Ancient Greek for a comma) denotes a pause, reminding us to slow down and punctuate our life with sustainable choices.
